Tom Sellars Recognized with National Award

Milwaukee (February 17, 2026) Tom Sellars, CEO of Sellars Absorbent Materials, a Milwaukee-based manufacturer and marketer of wipes, absorbents and towel and tissue products, has been named to the MO 100 Top Impact CEO list. The award recognizes 100 CEOs globally who leverage capitalism to generate positive social and environmental change.

Many of Sellars’ SKUs use recycled content. In fact, three of the company’s top-selling, high-performance products contain recycled input – TOOLBOX® Blue Shop towels, TOOLBOX® White Rags and Bravo® paper towels.

“At Sellars, we have a long-term commitment to our people, our customers and the planet,” says Tom Sellars. “For our employees, we provide family-supporting jobs, pathways for advancement, generous benefits, a program that provides incentives for homebuying plus monthly attendance and quarterly performance bonuses for our manufacturing employees. For our customers, we produce a variety of durable, cost-effective products that utilize recycled content so they’re environmentally friendly.”

Sellars’ Bravo paper towels, available at Target stores nationwide and at Target.com, are made from 75% recycled paper and cardboard. Thanks to a proprietary manufacturing process, the towels have superior absorbency and scrub strength. In fact, they’re so durable that they can be rinsed and reused again and again – another plus in the “green” column.

The company’s TOOLBOX blue towels are made with 60% recycled fiber and are found in auto shops, manufacturing facilities, garages and homes. Sellars’ white rags are made from up to 45% recycled fibers and are great for painting, staining, wallpapering and many other uses indoors and out.

The MO 100 ranking shines a spotlight on CEOs who demonstrate that every transaction represents an opportunity to create positive outcomes for all stakeholders. The MO 100 evaluates companies on their “Force for Good” score that takes into account one-year sales growth, revenue and their B Impact Assessment.
